Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Taylor Titans (Kokomo, IN), 41-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elwood upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lapel (Lapel, IN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Lapel lost 53-42 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN)

Next up, the Titans clash with the North Miami Warriors (Denver, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 40-37 non-league loss to Caston (Fulton, IN).
