The Flatonia Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Granger Lions to 30 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brazos Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Flatonia will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-30 non-league win over Milano (Milano, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-7.
The Lions (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Thorndale (Thorndale, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region IV District 27 contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Thorndale triumphed over Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX), 43-42, in a non-league contest.
