In their next game, the Indians face the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) in a 2A Region 5 game, on Thursday, January 4. Poyen will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 8-7 record after their 42-39 non-league loss to Perryville (Perryville, AR).

With the defeat, Glen Rose drops to 3-9 on the season. The Beavers host Centerpoint (Amity, AR) to encounter the Knights in a 3A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 2. The Knights go into the test with a record of 11-3. Centerpoint won 35-33 in their recent non-league test against Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR)
