Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY), 51-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lee County upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Bobcats host Estill County (Irvine, KY) to clash with the Engineers in a District 56 bout on Friday, January 5. The Engineers go into the bout with a record of 5-7.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY) in a District 55 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Jackson City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
