Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marmaduke Greyhounds (Marmaduke, AR), 70-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Izard County (Brockwell, AR) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Izard County won 60-50 in their recent non-league bout against Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Monday, January 8. Marmaduke will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record.
