The Shelbyville Dragons basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Mt. Enterprise Wildcats to 27 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tenaha for a 2A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Shelbyville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 48-35 non-league win over Broaddus (Broaddus, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 20-4.

The Wildcats (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX). The Hornets enter the 2A Region III District 22 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, New Summerfield was defeated by Overton (Overton, TX), 50-34, in a league contest.
