In Friday's non-league match, the host Sullivan Golden Arrows basketball team scored a tight 49-44 triumph over the North Central Thunderbirds.
In their next game, the Golden Arrows meet the South Putnam Eagles (Greencastle, IN) in a Western Indiana match, on Friday, January 5. Sullivan will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 9-6 record after their 63-29 non-league loss to Cascade (Clayton, IN).
