Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX), 54-14 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Palacios upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Sharks host Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, January 5. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-14.
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Ganado Indians (Ganado, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Rice Consolidated will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 63-20 non-league loss to Palacios (Palacios, TX).
