North Carolina High School Basketball - West Stanly can't hold off Parkwood

The West Stanly Colts basketball team (Oakboro, NC), was nudged 60-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC)

The Wolf Pack now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hills for a 2A/3A Rocky River battle on Tuesday, January 2. Parkwood will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 64-37 non-league win over Central (Pageland, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-5.

The Colts (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars come into the 2A/3A Rocky River battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Central Academy was nudged by Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 66-16, in a non-league battle.
