The Narragansett Mariners ice hockey squad scored 8 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln Lions to 4 in the Mariners league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Narragansett moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mariners host Coventry (Coventry, RI) to face the Oakers in a Division 2 contest on Wednesday, January 3. The Oakers go into the contest with a record of 0-4.

The Lions now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cumberland for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Lincoln will face a Clippers squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 1-1.
