The Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) basketball nipped the host Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA), 23-21 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Marion (Marion, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record.
The Bears now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Fort Chiswell for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 10.
