El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting California Condors (Whittier, CA), 56-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, El Segundo upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to West (Torrance, CA) to play the Warriors in a bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Condors play the Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. California will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 65-41 non-league loss to Torrance (Torrance, CA).
