Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA), 59-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carlmont upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Scots host Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-2.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 43-29 non-league loss to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA).
