The Bethel Warriors basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Homer Mariners to 64 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Warriors now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Galena for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16.

With the loss, Homer falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Palmer (Palmer, AK) to confront the Moose in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Moose go into the game with a record of 3-0. Palmer won 60-53 in their recent non-league game against Soldotna (Soldotna, AK)
