The Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Central Davidson Spartans to 48 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hornets now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Carson for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 30. Salisbury will confront a Cougars team coming off a 70-55 non-league win over West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 11-0.

The Spartans (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Tunstall was beaten by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 59-48, in a non-league game.
