Alabama High School Basketball - Deshler can't hold off Florence

The Florence Falcons basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Deshler Tigers to 65 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 7. Florence will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 79-51 non-league loss to Grissom (Huntsville, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers (Florence, AL). The Pirates enter the 4A Area 16 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Rogers was nudged by Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL), 66-38, in a non-league contest.
