The Hampton Crabbers (Hampton, VA) basketball nipped the host Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA), 74-71 in Friday's league test.

The Crabbers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record.

The Wolverines now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a Peninsula test on Tuesday, December 7. Woodside will encounter a Hurricanes squad coming off a 80-63 non-league loss to Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-2.
