The Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 60-45 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Milford (Milford, NE). The Eagles go into the C1 District 4 test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Milford notched a victory over Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE), 50-38, in a non-league test.
The Monarchs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Howells-Dodge for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 7. Aquinas will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 50-46 non-league win over Stanton (Stanton, NE). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.
