The South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA) basketball knocked off the host Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA), 66-46 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Gladiators (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA). The Colonials go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Albert Gallatin went down by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA), 52-40, in a non-league test.
The Leopards now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Steel Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Belle Vernon will encounter a Ironmen squad coming off a 53-35 non-league loss to Jeannette (Jeannette, PA). The Ironmen record now stands at 0-2.
