The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Izard County Cougars to 24 in the Timberwolves league triumph on Saturday.

The Timberwolves now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quitman for a 2A Region 2 contest on Wednesday, December 7. Cedar Ridge will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-38 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bobcats enter the 2A Region 2 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Marshall triumphed over Quitman (Quitman, AR), 64-38, in a league contest.
