Cherokee Christian Warriors (Woodstock, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Praise Academy Lions (Powder Springs, GA), 61-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherokee Christian upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Warriors host Lyndon Academy (Woodstock, GA) to play the Terriers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Lyndon Academy won 58-50 in their recent non-league bout against Cornerstone Prep Academy (Acworth, GA)

Next up, the Lions play the Oakwood Christian Eagles (Chickamauga, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Praise Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 77-54 league loss to Excel Christian Academy (Cartersville, GA).
