Lutheran South Academy Pioneers (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host CHSA HomeSchool Wolverines (Houston, TX), 60-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lutheran South Academy upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Pioneers host Second Baptist (Houston, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a TAPPS 5A District 5 bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Second Baptist won 74-32 in their recent non-league bout against St. John's (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Calvary Baptist Eagles (Conroe, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. CHSA HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 58-57 league loss to Covenant Academy (Cypress, TX).
