Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Kennett knocked off by Council Rock South

The Council Rock South Golden Hawks basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Kennett Blue Demons to 42 in the Golden Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Golden Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bensalem for a Suburban One - National contest on Friday, December 9. Council Rock South will battle a Fighting Owls team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Holy Ghost Prep (Bensalem, PA). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 2-0.
The Blue Demons (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Octorara Area (Atglen, PA). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Octorara Area ran past Solanco (Quarryville, PA), 65-55, in a non-league contest.
