Illinois High School Basketball - DuQuoin ripped by Herrin

The Herrin Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host DuQuoin Indians to 29 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benton for a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio contest on Friday, December 9. Herrin will battle a Rangers team coming off a 60-47 non-league win over Goreville (Goreville, IL). The Rangers record now stands at 4-0.
The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Lions enter the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Carterville triumphed over Trico (Campbell Hill, IL), 68-35, in a non-league contest.
