Hagerman Pirates (Hagerman, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV), 33-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hagerman upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Pirates host Sun Valley Community (Sun Valley, ID) to play the Cutthroats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Cutthroats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Sun Valley Community won 48-41 in their recent non-league bout against Twin Falls Christian Academy (Twin Falls, ID)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Independence Colts (Elko, NV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Jackpot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 66-6 non-league win over Wells (Wells, NV).
