Hubbard Jaguars (Hubbard, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX), 52-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hubbard upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Blooming Grove won 53-38 in their recent non-league bout against Bosqueville (Waco, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Avalon Eagles (Avalon, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Wortham will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
