Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad topple the visiting Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA), 69-54 in a non-league test.

The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Crestwood notched a victory over Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA), 56-39, in a non-league test.

The Green Dragons now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Our Lady of Lourdes Regional for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Lewisburg will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 44-41 non-league loss to East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
