The Russell Red Devils basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Rowan County Vikings to 47 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Red Devils now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Carter for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Briar Jumpers enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
