With the victory, Barbe upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Lacassine (Lacassine, LA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Lacassine won 60-38 in their recent non-league bout against Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA)

Next up, the Lions play the St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Lafayette will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Gators come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 43-39 non-league win over Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA).
