Chester Volcanoes (Chester, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Big Valley Cardinals (Bieber, CA), 38-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chester upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Volcanoes travel to Westwood (Westwood, CA) to play the Lumberjacks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
