Texas High School Basketball - Canyon Lake can't hold off Johnson City

The Johnson City Eagles basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Canyon Lake to 33 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Llano for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Johnson City will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 35-17 non-league loss to Bandera (Bandera, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-8.
The (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Burnet held off Salado (Salado, TX), 52-49, in a non-league bout.
