The Gorman Panthers basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting De Leon Bearcats to 39 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hico for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Gorman will battle a Tigers team coming off a 34-20 non-league loss to Whitney (Whitney, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-8.

The Bearcats (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Eastland (Eastland, TX). The Mavericks come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Eastland was nudged by Ropes (Ropesville, TX), 62-44, in a non-league contest.
