Rhode Island High School Basketball - Fishers Island trounced by Rocky Hill Country Day

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Rocky Hill Country Day Mariners basketball team scored a decisive 56-31 triumph over the Fishers Island Vikings.

In their next game, the Mariners meet the Bancroft Bulldogs (Worcester, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 9. Rocky Hill Country Day will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.

With the defeat, Fishers Island moves to 0-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 5. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-0.
