Sardis Lions (Boaz, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL), 64-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sardis upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Alexandria (Alexandria, AL) to play the Valley Cubs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Valley Cubs come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Alexandria won 56-43 in their recent non-league bout against Moody (Moody, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the St. Clair County Fighting Saints (Odenville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Geraldine will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
