Sheridan Generals (Thornville, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host John Glenn Little Muskies (New Concord, OH), 58-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Sheridan upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Generals travel to Warren (Vincent, OH) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-0.

Next up, the Little Muskies clash with the Meadowbrook Colts (Byesville, OH) in a Muskingum Valley bout, on Wednesday, December 7. John Glenn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 50-28 league win over Morgan (McConnelsville, OH).
