Nebraska High School Basketball - Twin Loup nips Sandhills/Thedford

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE) and the visiting Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE), saw Twin Loup's basketball squad hold off Sandhills/Thedford by a count of 36-33.

With the victory, Twin Loup upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Stuart (Stuart, NE) to play the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Stuart lost 54-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NE)

Next up, the Knights play the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Sandhills/Thedford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 59-26 non-league loss to Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE).
