Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA), 65-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shasta upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to Lassen (Susanville, CA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Lassen won 50-29 in their recent non-league bout against Portola (Portola, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Marysville Indians (Marysville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. University Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 67-54 non-league loss to Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA).
