With the victory, Uvalde upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) travel to Crystal City (Crystal City, TX) to play the Javelinas in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Javelinas come into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Mavericks play the Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Winn will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
