In Tuesday's league contest, the host Bay Yellowjackets basketball team scored a big 64-34 triumph over the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs.

The Yellowjackets (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Corning (Corning, AR). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region 3 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Corning smashed Maynard (Maynard, AR), 61-60, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR) in a 2A Region 3 contest, on Friday, December 6. Buffalo Island Central will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 72-52 non-league loss to Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR).
