With the victory, Southwest Valley advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The host Griswold (Griswold, IA) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-0. Griswold won 68-39 in their recent non-league match against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA)

The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Warren for a Pride of Iowa match on Friday, December 6. East Union will face a Warhawks squad coming off a 73-14 non-league win over Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 2-1.
