In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Hazel Green Trojans basketball team scored a close 42-35 triumph over the Lee Generals.
The Trojans (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia (Huntsville, AL). The Eagles go into the 6A Area 16 contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Columbia nipped Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL), 64-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Generals battle the Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL) in a 6A Area 16 contest, on Friday, December 6. Lee will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 56-53 non-league win over Sparkman (Harvest, AL).
