The Medora Hornets basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers to 43 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lighthouse Christian Academy for a Southern Roads game on Friday, December 6. Medora will confront a Lions team coming off a 71-10 non-league win over Washington Catholic (Washington, IN). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Shawe Memorial falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Southwestern (Hanover, IN) to confront the Rebels in a Ohio River Valley game on Friday, December 6. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 1-0. Southwestern won 56-51 in their recent non-league game against Madison (Madison, IN)
