The Morning Star Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Tri-State Christian Huskies to 43 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host East Moline Christian for a Northern Illinois Christian game on Thursday, December 5. Morning Star Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 44-32 league win over Pathway Christian (Kalona, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Tri-State Christian falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Unity Christian (Fulton, IL) to confront the Knights in a Northern Illinois Christian game on Monday, December 9. The Knights go into the game with a record of 1-5. Unity Christian lost 75-29 in their recent league game against Faith Christian (Dixon, IL)
