The Wayne County War Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Oak Grove Warriors to 34 in the War Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The War Eagles now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Jones for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Wayne County will confront a Braves team coming off a 65-28 non-league win over West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Braves record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Oak Grove falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Tylertown (Tylertown, MS) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Chiefs go into the game with a record of 0-4. Tylertown lost 82-54 in their recent non-league game against Provine (Jackson, MS)
