In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans basketball team scored a good 54-46 triumph over the Rushville-Industry Rockets.

The Trojans (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL). The Rockets go into the Western Illinois Valley contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Routt Catholic topped Litchfield (Litchfield, IL), 67-42, in a non-league battle.

The Rockets now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bushnell-Prairie City for a non-league battle on Friday, December 6. Rushville-Industry will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 55-22 non-league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
