Alabama High School Basketball - Zion Chapel thwarts Samson

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Zion Chapel Rebels (Jack, AL) and the visiting Samson Tigers (Samson, AL), observed Zion Chapel's basketball team knock off Samson by a score of 71-61.

The Rebels (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Kinston (Kinston, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Kinston dropped by Slocomb (Slocomb, AL), 62-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 5. Samson will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 52-43 non-league win over Geneva County (Hartford, AL).
