The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH) and the host Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH), observed Zane Trace's basketball team edge Westfall by a margin of 47-44.

The Pioneers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Piketon (Piketon, OH). The Redstreaks come into the Scioto Valley challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Piketon was tipped by Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH), 59-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Paint Valley Bearcats (Bainbridge, OH) in a Scioto Valley challenge, on Friday, December 6. Westfall will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
