The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) basketball crushed the visiting Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC), 51-24 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Fighting Green Hornets now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Mid-Carolina for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 5. Aiken will play a Rebels team coming off a 50-35 non-league loss to Saluda (Saluda, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Strom Thurmond falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Midland Valley lost 42-28 in their recent non-league bout against Eau Claire (Columbia, SC)
