In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Alvord Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 41-29 triumph over the Valley View Eagles.

The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Archer City (Archer City, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Archer City topped Midway (Henrietta, TX), 50-22, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Boles Hornets (Quinlan, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. Valley View will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 34-32 non-league loss to Savoy (Savoy, TX).
