The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) and the visiting Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA), observed Cherokee's basketball team overwhelm Walton by a score of 69-38.

The Warriors (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Blue Devils come into the AAAAAA Region 5 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Marietta trounced Wheeler (Marietta, GA), 56-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the North Paulding Wolfpack (Dallas, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Friday, December 6. Walton will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 59-39 non-league win over Pope (Marietta, GA).
